July 23 transformersi recently caught a glimpse on tv of a film i surprised myself by enjoying about a year ago. the name of the film is sweet home alabama. part of the plot involves the main girl returning from new york where she is a successful fashion designer to the hick town somewhere the south of the usa in which she grew up. she is in disbelief at the way her old friends and family refuse to move on in their slow paced lives expecting nothing more than simplicity and day to dayness. being back in new zealand now i feel what i knew i would. great pride and love for my friends and family. admiration for the way many of our good friends and family have continued to build happy, wholesome and fruitful lives. you excel in your jobs, your commitment to your families and your zest for recreation. i take stock every july (when my birthday falls, increasingly harder) and wonder what new directions i can head in. i have droned on on this site many times before at my own feeling on inability to do this. my mind is running faster this year however and i look forward to reporting new endeavours that will crop up soon. looking at you, i feel a smidge left behind. i'm coming, though. |
